I cannot give an exact price for a particular kind of job as no two are alike and the amount of prep, detail and time can differ enormously between two outwardly similar types of work. What I can do is give an estimate price range that different items may fall into. I need to stress that these are a rough guideline and I won't stick to them if I'm asked to do a particularly taxing or time-intensive piece of work..

Motorcycles :

Helmets

For a fairly basic design on an open faced helmet you would be looking at £350. An average scheme on a full faced helmet will be around the £500 mark with especially complex artwork going up to £800 and above. I can order helmets on the customer's behalf if full payment for the helmet is received in advance along with a deposit for the artwork.

Leather

Starting at the £25 mark for a logo, larger designs can range from the £90 mark for a full colour cartoon with a background, to full paintings from album covers to photographs and fantasy artwork which will range from £150 to £600.

Payment

For jobs over £150 I require a 25% deposit in advance to secure the next available time slot. The outstanding amount must be paid before the finished items will be returned to the customer. Please note, part or all of the deposit will be retained to pay for any time spent on the project, materials bought in especially for it or for time put aside that then cannot be used for another job if for any reason the customer decides not to go ahead with the work. The deposit will be returned in full if the reason for not going ahead is due to problems at this end.

For jobs under £150, unless the item is to be collected in person, payment in full is required along with the item to be painted.

I accept cheques made payable to G Hood Custom Paintwork as well as cash, of course. I do not currently have the facility to accept cards.
A full receipt will be given for all payments taken.
