This is another jacket that I painted for Metal Head on Carnaby Street, London in the mid 1990s. I was very familiar with this artwork anyway as the second gig I ever went to was to see Ozzy Osbourne at Bradford St.George's Hall in 1986 on the Ultimate Sin tour.

One of my very early jacket paintings was for the same artwork, so I knew it would work very well on leather. At the time I wasn't doing very much airbrushing as I didn't have that much control over it. I tended to limit the airbrushing to the base colour and fairly vague detail. The background red was sprayed on over a white base and then the mushroom cloud was airbrushed over the top before everything else was handpainted on, including the skin textures and clothes.
