As all the band related leather art is displayed in Collection 1 and Collection 2, I've collated all the other leather artwork that I'd like to be seen into this section.

Most of these are for private customers that came to the stalls I'd set up at various motorcycle events across the UK. Exceptions to that are the Giger jacket I painted for Metal Head and was sold to one of their customers, whilst the Greta Garbo portrait was for someone who contacted me when I lived in Brighton. He wanted the image painting onto a piece of fine quality leather that he then sewed into a jacket he was creating as a display piece for London Fashion Week. This was my first attempt at freehand airbrushing and I think it came out pretty well.

When I set my bike rally stalls up I would take with me a collection of fantasy art books for people to look through for something to paint onto their jacket or waistcoat. I was living in Brighton when I first started these stalls. It began when I was invited to share a leather clothing stall run by a Brighton based couple. They took me with them to several large events all over England. I used a small portable compressor and a couple of airbrushes alongside a set of paintbrushes and a box full of paint. The best of these was at the Rockers Reunion at Battersea, South London where I was filmed for a television program that did a 10 minute feature on my leather art.

I continued with the rally stalls when I moved back up to Yorkshire in 1997 but took a break from painting in general between 1998 and 2001. After that I got back into custom painting with a vengeance, but this time concentrated on the bikes, trikes and helmets so I could make a real go of it as a business. I still paint quite a few leather jackets but they don't make up the bulk of my workload these days.
