Owner Sean sent his Shoei Astro R to me to have a scheme airbrushed on based on the Pokemon cartoon characters.

The helmet was split into 2 halves, in the same way as the Pokéballs from the animated stories. On the white half can be found the 'good' characters and on the red side the 'bad'.

Bright colours really make this scheme work nicely.

The vents were painted to match before everything was given several coats of clear and highly polished.

The masking was removed and all the components re-assembled before being returned to the owner.

Technical issues with the main vent required some rework, but a replacement from the manufacturers helped get that sorted out. It did mean that the job took a while to get completed so thanks to Sean for bearing with me whilst it was all sorted out.
