Martin, the owner of this Arai RX-7 Corsair helmet wanted it to represent the various elements of his Scottish heritage.

The base pattern is the Davidson clan tartan made from greens, blue and red and that took some time to map out and look right whilst being wrapped around the spherical form of the helmet.

The Saltaire flag adorns the right hand side and the Scottish Lion flag the left.

The Davidson emblem is dead centre on the top of the helmet around which are the words "Rise Now and Be a Nation Again".

Of course, no Scottish themed item would be complete without a Nessie lurking somewhere and he (she?) can be found on the back of the helmet holding a can or Irn Bru.

I'm particularly proud of this helmet. It has so many elements and they've all come together nicely.
