I've not painted one of these before - a Rev Tech kit chopper.
With the help of Steve Edwards in Halifax, the frame, fenders, oil tank and petrol tank were all painted in a deep House of Kolor candy red. I then took everything apart from the frame to add the artwork.
The central piece on the bike is a Saxon Helmet on the petrol tank, based on an original helmet excavated at Sutton Hoo and a design that I have painted before onto a leather waistcoat, also featured on this site.
I also added a ceremonial dagger to the front fender and armour to the oil tank and rear fender.
As the owner is away at sea a lot of the time, I've not been able to get hold of any photos of the bike put back together yet. A couple of the photos here were taken before lacquer was applied as well, hence the dull look on the front fender and oil tank. If I get more photos they'll be added here.
