Just the petrol tank and rear fender needed painting for this project. The owners decided on a Magenta Blue for the basecoat and I then used House of Kolor marbliser as a base for the artwork, faded out to the edges. You can't really make it out on the petrol tank photo but you can see it clearly on the fender.
The owners had found the skeletal rider image on the Internet and decided that would be ideal to use on the petrol tank. It was actually originally used on the cover of a book called "Trial of Champions".
A sword and shield were painted onto the rear mudguard and I added some lightning.
The "Skeletal Warrior" lettering was added and it really finished the petrol tank artwork off nicely.
Both parts were given several coats of Dupont lacquer and a thorough
polishing before being returned for fitting to the bike.
