New Premises | Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine | Website Rebuilt | New Year, New Premises | Flintstones Beetle | Marilyn Monroe | Valhalla TrikeI have now completed my premises move to Flameworks and my old landline number of 01377 252246 is no longer active. For at least the next few weeks I'll only be available to speak to on my mobile - 07866 537219. Please see the Contact Page for the times I am available on my mobile (e.g. not on a Sunday...!!)
Thanks everyone for bearing with me - moving is are overdue or have deadlines looming will be dealt with as a priority. Those without strict deadlines, please bear with me - I will get to you and it will be worth the wait.
Thanks for your patience - Grant, March 10th
I've been rebuilding this website over the last few weeks and it is
now live. The framework of the site doesn't look much different to the
previous incarnation as a lot of the improvements are to the underlying
structure, but I have introduced expanding images to all the items in
the Gallery as well as a full write-up for
all the projects that I include in it. I have added several collections
of old photos of leather jackets that I painted between 10 and 15 years
ago, which are now in the Leather Art section.
On the right you can see a strip of images. These will display randomly and you can click on them to go through to the gallery section for that project.
I have added several new projects such as the Predator and Shark helmets as well as the Kurt Cobain leather jacket and there are more new projects to go on as soon as I can get them completed.

I am happy to announce that I will be moving into the premises at Flameworks, Carnaby Industrial Estate, Bridlington in the New Year. Many thanks to Mike and Gary Garland for helping get me set up in their huge workspace. In return I'll be able to offer my services to customers visiting the Harley showroom at the front of the building. This should work really well for all of us.

This
was a small job but a very effective one, I thought. The beetle has
been rebuilt to an excellent standard by enthusiast owner Robert.
More photos and a write-up. Grant - June 11th 2007
I've
recently completed another job for Flameworks which required photos
of Marilyn Monroe handpainting and airbrushing onto a Harley Fatboy.
More photos
and write-up.
Owner Oggy can be seen flying around the Scarborough area on the bike now it's back on the road. I have a matching helmet to paint for it as soon as I'm able to get it done.

The
Valhalla trike that I've been working on for some time has been completed
and is back on the road. With a lot of detailed artwork on it I think
this is the most extensive project I've worked on.
I've incorporated a new system to display the photos when you click on the thumbnails on the Valhalla Trike page - something I hope to incorporate throughout the site before long.
Thanks to Flameworks at Bridlington for their work on the frame and for clearcoating and polishing the panels on this project - the first of many for me. More to come from this collaboration.
